IDW Publishing was founded in 1999 and quickly grew into one of the biggest companies in the industry. They are similar to Dark Horse in that they have housed independent creator-owned successes, such as the brilliant Locke & Key, alongside licensed comics based on films, TV shows and computer games. IDW are known for publishing Star Trek, Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to name a few. Top Shelf and Black Crown comics can be found in the IDW section of the store.
